Firrhill High School – Refugee appeal

Firrhill High School – Refugee appeal

Article 22 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child states that children who move from their home country to another country as refugees should get help and protection.

On behalf of the Rights Respecting Schools pupil group, S6 Interact Charity Committee and Senior Student Council, we are seeking your support in protecting children and their families displaced due to conflict, natural disaster or persecution. We are running a joint fund for Unicef and Red Cross humanitarian appeals. You can donate on Parent Pay.

We are also running an essential items collection in the school reception area. Please see poster here Firrhill High School refugee appeal for more information about items needed.

If you have a large quantity of items to donate – please pass them directly to one of the central Edinburgh drop off points as we are unable to store very large quantities.

Thank you for your support.
