Welcome to the Parent Council

Welcome to the Firrhill High School parent community. The Firrhill Parent Council’s aims are to:

  • support the school in its work with pupils
  • represent the views of parents and carers to the school, the education authority and other relevant bodies
  • promote positive engagement between the school, parents, pupils and the community

Working Groups

The Parent Council run a number of working groups…

  • Health & Wellbeing
  • Additional Support Needs
  • Business & Enterprise
  • Fund Raising and Social Group

Participation

The Parent Council or one of the Working Groups is a great way to get involved in the school, hear directly from the school leadership team and make your views heard. There is more information on the Parent Council and the working groups in this section of the school website.

We’re all parents or carers of children at Firrhill, we take part in Parent Council activities on a voluntary basis and we’re always happy for more parents and carers to become involved.  To get in touch, please e-mail us at firrhillpc@gmail.com or come along to one of our meetings (dates below) – we’d be delighted to see you there.
